Good tool. Poor UX
Following up on the last review I indeed confirmed that the tool is good but the ui is not intuitive and the onboarding process is kind of annoying With a lot of frictions. I was looking for a Trello Alternative maybe this is not the right tool but I can see how this tool can be useful for granular hierarchy Though I haven't seen this permission matrix mentioned a description maybe I went past it I have seen an organizational structure with bunch of descriptions inside it but no actual effective permission management between members.

May 9, 2024Hi Romain!
Thank you for finding the tool good! We appreciate the kind words!
With regards to your other points:
1. The ENTIRE onboarding process can be skipped by clicking ONE button. :) I don’t believe there could have been a LESS frictional option available that clicking 1 button. Anything less and there wouldn’t have been an onboarding process at all. :) More so, each individual step of the Onboarding Sequence can also be skipped, as you wish. :)
2. You haven’t seen the Permission Matrix because it’s BUILT IT to Alvanda! :) The ONLY thing you need to do is define your Org Structure! Then, whenever you invite someone to a Position within the Org Chart, they AUTOMTAICALLY only have access to whatever Procedures and Information you shared with that Position. This is actually a HUGE advantage of Alvanda, because it saves companies hundreds of hours a year in manually setting permissions and onboarding people.
With regards to your point about this maybe not being a Trello alternative. You’re 100% correct!
Alvanda is SO MUCH MORE than just a glorified task list manager. Within Alvanda, you can:
1. Create entire user experiences for your team, where they get guidance on every single step of every procedure WHILST their doing their tasks!
2. Enjoy *automatic* time tracking and *automatic* workload reports across all functions.
3. *Automatic* and cross-departmental workload distribution based on triggers *you* define.
4. *Automatic* Progress Reports on every main initiative, project, or client you wish to track.
5. And sooo much more.
From an ideal user perspective, Alvanda is NOT for people that:
1. Take pride in putting out fires or otherwise being the “fixer” / “answers person”.
2. Want to operate at the same level or in the same ways as they always have (delegating ad-hoc tasks to their teams and having limited transparency on how the work is being done).
3. Don’t want to change their way of thinking and acting towards how self-sustaining multi-million dollar organizations are built.
4. Don’t want to put in at least a small amount of effort into defining their vision, structure, and procedures.
On the other hand, Alvanda IS for people that:
1. Take pride in providing their teams with ALL of the knowledge, guidance, and support they need to deliver amazing results BY THEMSELVES.
2. Want to FINALLY have clear procedures and guidance across *their entire operation*.
3. Want to know *exactly* how self-sustaining multi-million dollar enterprises are built.
4. Are willing to put in a bit of effort to processize their business, and get everyone to deliver the same high quality outcome, without their supervision.
As stats, you can find online that:
1. 96% of businesses NEVER pass $1m/year. And from the small percentage that do, they’re ops are so chaotic, they die off in a few years, and provoke a ton of senseless stress on both the people working there and their families.
2. Setting up organization-wide systems and procedures at the level of customization and capabilities Alvanda provides costs between 6- to 8-figures, and 6-18 months to accomplish.
Alvanda was born to CHANGE that.
To help small businesses *finally* have access to Enterprise-Grade Systems that can help them get out of the rat race and onto the fast track!
So yes, again, you are very correct. Alvanda is NOT a Trello alternative. :) Alvanda is for all SMBs who want to level up their game.
For example, the request of one of our amazing Sumolings, we filmed an entire walkthrough video of Alvanda, showcasing many of the EXTRA capabilities the platform has, and why, for example, defining a Mission Statement, and everything else we recommend and provide *free* guidance on is important:

More so, and if you’re open, I'd love to *personally* give you a tour, answer any questions, help you set up, or anything of the sort!
Just please email support@alvanda.com, request a call with Robert, and we’ll hop on a call in no time!
Thank you for trying Alvanda and thanks again for the kind words!
