Q: I'm just starting to check Marvin out & would love some deeper guidance as to how Marvin can be used along ...

with other productivity apps, such as Asana. I currently use Asana for my tasks and collaborating with my VAs. I'm just trying to decide what types of things would be worth manually importing into your app & then also having to check off in two places. I know your features are different, I'm just trying to wrap my brain around how to use it to compliment what I already have.

A: Great question! For the scenario where your team uses a collaboration app but you want to manage your own tasks/time in Marvin, we are working on integration. So you can easily pull tasks in from any of the team apps to get YOUR workload in one place. We are trying to launch this in January. Until then there isn't a great way to do this as you can import your tasks or have them sent via Zapier into Marvin, but if you check them off in Marvin this change does not get transmitted without integration.

Once we have collaboration you can of course also use Marvin with your VAs/team (there will be an option to just share lists with others without them having to pay for a seat).

We do have quite a bit of users who already use Marvin and Asana together, but there is some manual work depending on how you use it.

You could still use Marvin as a day planner, seeing your calendar commitments there, set up your personal recurring tasks/projects, and even asana projects you are working on and then just use Marvin to plan out your day for example. If you reach out to support I would be happy to make a video for you to show what I mean.

If that does not sound right, I suggest you wait until the Asana integration to fully hop on and use both, or wait a bit longer until we have collaboration so you can potentially replace Asana.
