I hope you were working on your app approval in Meta / Facebook. How is it going? I wanted to use whatsapp via simple facebook login. Please let me know how I can achieve this.

No, sorry, you can't use WhatsApp this way yet.
You only can connect WhatsApp with QR code at this moment.
