Q: Clarification regarding "Custom Assistant" and OpenAI Deprecation (August 2026)

I have a question regarding the future of the Assistant features in your platform.

Currently, in the AnyChat interface, both the "OpenAI Assistant ID" and the "Custom Assistant" (where I write the instructions/prompt directly in AnyChat) are located under the Legacy tab.

I know that OpenAI is deprecating their old Assistants API in August 2026.
My question is:
Does the Custom Assistant (prompt-based) also depend on that expiring API? Or does it use a different method (like Chat Completions) that will continue to work after August?

I need to know if I can safely continue using the Custom Assistant feature, or if I must migrate everything to the "New Experience" tab immediately.

Looking forward to your answer.

Best regards,

A: Hello.
We have already migrated from the OpenAI Assistants API. The current implementation no longer depends on the deprecated API. It is recommended to use the "New Experience" tab and recreate your assistants in Anychat. This will allow you to train the AI using your data (files, KB, or website link).

If you are using Custom Assistants with an Assistant ID, this means you are still using the OpenAI Assistants API, so your chatflow will stop working in August 2026.
