Q: Comparison to Process Street

Hi,
I'm looking for an alternative to Process Street and I would like to know whether your solution could replace it in a way to be more tailored towards processes rather than approvals.
Could you please describe the main differences between your solution and Process St. in a way that clearly states what Approvethis can't do. It would save me a lot of time and I see that it is listed as an Process street alternative.

Thank you in advance!

A: Thanks for reaching out. Happy to give you an honest comparison based on my understanding of Process Street's current offering.

The core difference: Process Street is a general-purpose process execution platform where team members complete tasks in checklists. ApproveThis is purpose-built for approval workflows where everything flows through submit, review, approve/deny/revise. We go deep on approvals rather than broad on general process management.

What ApproveThis can't do today that Process Street can:

General task checklists. We don't support "complete these 12 onboarding tasks" workflows. Ours are structured around approval decisions, not task completion.

Compliance framework mapping. Process Street's Cora AI maps workflows to ISO, SOC 2, HIPAA, etc. We don't have that.

Document/policy management. Process Street has a Docs module for version-controlled SOPs and policies. We handle file uploads and AI document extraction, but we're not a document management system.

Microsoft Teams / Google Workspace integrations. We integrate with Slack, BigCommerce, QuickBooks, and Zapier, but don't have native Teams or Google Workspace connectors yet.

Coming this quarter: Document revisions for DOCX and PDF files, and e-signatures.

Where we think we're stronger (if approvals are a big part of your processes):
Multi-channel approvals: email one-click, Slack buttons, or web, even for people without accounts

Smart routing: conditional logic, dollar thresholds, manager hierarchies, group-based approvals, vacation delegation

AI document processing: automatic data extraction from uploads, contract comparison

Email-to-workflow: forward an email and it kicks off an approval automatically

On pricing: This goes without saying, but I can't not mention it. Process Street starts at $100/mo (5 users minimum) and their Pro plan is $1,500/mo. They're built for enterprise compliance teams. We're built for SMBs and small teams that need powerful approvals without enterprise pricing or complexity.

Honest take: If you need a broad process execution tool where people complete general checklists and tasks, Process Street is probably the better fit. If your core pain is getting things reviewed and approved efficiently, we go much deeper on that at a much lower price point.

Happy to jump on a quick call if you'd like to walk through your specific use case.

Thank you very much for this! I will check it out and try to see whether it can fit our needs, but your product has so much potential, nevertheless.
