A: Hey!

Sorry, do you mean how many users can use your AppScreens purchased licence? If so, only one account can. You can create a generic account & password if you need to share this account though.

Hope this helps. Otherwise please let me know if I misunderstood! :)

Q: A possibly ridiculous question, but what the heck.

You only live once.

I have a client who asked whether his 80+ page (non-eCommerce) website could be "downloaded somehow" for sales reps to have in their phones in case they can't connect to the Internet. I have never heard of such a thing and thought it would take up a boatload of storage anyway.

Is AppScreens a possible solution to this? Create screenshots of the website pages, then stored in an app that can be downloaded privately and can run off a phone or tablet without internet?

A: G'day!

No, this is not what we do - we create screenshots for the iOS and Google App Stores. The ones you see when you choose which app to download.

In your case, have a Google for; Progressive Web App (PWA) and Web Workers. You are able to achieve most of what you want with this, caching pages offline on the device. You'll need to be mindful as you suggest about size and perhaps only cache...

Q: Hi, Seems like a great product.

Some questions:
Looking through the templates,
1. Will you keep adding more templates in the future?
2. Will these be available for us Sumolings?
3. The only Landscape oriented templates are, although a lot less nice and not as many as the portrait ones, also only featuring tablet devices. I assume the devices can be replaced by phones?
4. In case you yes on 1 and 2. Will there be some nicely designed landscape oriented phone templates included?

Thank you kindly for answering these questions.

A: Hey! In response to your questions;

1) Yes, we plan to keep adding templates as users request and we find ones we like! If you have one you've seen on the AppStores you would like us to set up, ping it over.
2) Yes, all templates are available to all users of AppScreens.
3) Yes, most app store uses of landscape are tablets. This is how the majority of apps on the app store display tablets...

Q: Hi i myself donΒ΄t have any apps published in any of the stores, but after seeing your deal my question is ...

about how i could possibly use your tool to generate the screens for my clients.

Would it work for my clients?
Can you explain what the process is? It may sound like a silly question, but I am trying to understand how i could use this so i can generate the screens for my clients.
Do they have to give me access to their mobile app before is published in the stores, so i can then generate the screens? ... other?
If you can detail here the process, then i can understand how i can use this effectively.

Thank you

A: Hey!

Sure, we have lots of designers and creators who use AppScreens to create AppStore screenshots for other clients.

Typically, you would be given access to the app before release. This might be through Ad hoc deployment (a .ipa or .apk), TestFlight or Google Play's BETA channel. Once you have the app, you will need to emulate it or run on the relevant device screensizes. This will allow...

Q: Is it on your roadmap to make this available for website mockups on desktop or laptop screens as well?

I'd like to be able to use the mockups on landing pages.

Also, will you integrate video into the mockups as well?

A: Hey!

At this moment, we are really only focussed on the AppStore screenshot preparation process.

We would like to branch off and create a more general 'mock up' creator in AppScreens so you can mockup images at your own dimensions. This might come later in the year! :)
