Most mind mappers flatten a PDF into a picture or hold export behind a paid plan. Atlas Red rebuilds documents into maps you can edit and exports every one of them, in any format.

AppSumo Labs

Early-stage product. Brought to you by the team who built it.

Atlas Red is a mind mapping app that builds maps from what you already have. Drop in a PDF, a photo of a whiteboard, a recording or a YouTube link and AI rebuilds it as a structured map with every topic editable. Connect it to ChatGPT or Claude over MCP and build or restructure maps by describing them. Every map exports to Markdown, OPML, XMindMark, images, PDF, a web page or slides. Pro gives you unlimited maps, 5,000 topics per map and 5 GB of storage, with one payment.

Why I built Atlas Red

I'm Sinisa, and I build Atlas Red on my own under Electra Apps Studio. I made it because every mind mapper I tried treated my documents as something to trace by hand. I had meeting transcripts, PDFs and photos of whiteboards full of structure, and no tool that would turn them into a map I could keep editing. Atlas Red starts from that: the import is the product, and the map it produces is real, with every topic a topic you can move, rename or expand. The second thing I wanted was to work from the tools I already use. I use ChatGPT and Claude every day, so Atlas Red speaks MCP and shows up there as a tool. You describe the map, it appears, and you can keep shaping it in the editor or in the chat. That connection is included rather than metered, because I think it is simply how mind mapping should work now. Pro is one payment because that is the deal I want as a buyer. The map limits lift, export was never restricted in the first place, and future updates to Pro are yours. Where it goes next is more import sources and better restructuring, driven by what people actually ask for. If something does not work the way you expect, write to [email protected] and you will get me, not a queue.
