• Increased our Tier 2 and Tier 3 email limits to accommodate higher usage
• Added a monthly renewing 20 AI credits to our product listing -- users get a renewing 20 AI Credits monthly after exhausting their AppSumo grant
• Alias support has been our biggest feature request, it is slated for release next week (So you can use a single license across aliases linked to your Gmail inbox)
• Built and deployed the ability to click line items in your Dashboard to take you to the email thread

Automagical Apps was founded in 2020 and operates out of the US and Ireland.

What are past projects, failures, or successes you’ve had in your career?

Our leadership team has deep roots in tech and education.

Our CEO, John McGowan, is a Google Developer Expert and former math teacher who successfully founded and sold his first company, Equatio.

Our co-founder, Hussein, spent 7 years as a Solutions Architect at Google. Collectively, across our suite of products, we have achieved over 160 million global installs.

What is your team size?

We are a team of four full-time people.

What 3rd party tools is your product critically dependent on?

We are built almost exclusively on the Google stack: Firebase, Google Cloud, Gemini AI, and Chrome.

Where is your customer data stored?

Customer data is stored in highly secured, encrypted data centers located in the US.

How many customers do you have today?

Across our product suite, we have hundreds of B2B partnerships, tens of thousands of monthly active users, and over 160 million global installs.

What’s the origin of the idea for your product?

We build products to solve our own internal problems first.  For us, this is the benchmark of utility -- would we use it?  We desperately needed a tool embedded directly inside Gmail to help us manage our thousands of customers and scale our small team without dropping the ball on follow-ups. Nudge was born from that necessity, and we use it internally, literally, every single day.

What problem is your product solving and how?

We help sales people close deals, and support people close tickets. Deals often stall and action items get missed simply because people forget to follow up. Nudge solves this by plugging right into Gmail to automate follow-up sequences and remind you of unresolved threads, helping you boost your NPS and revenue without leaving your inbox.

What’s the #1 thing you’re looking to gain from the AppSumo campaign?

We want to help businesses get on board and grow alongside us.

What are your plans with the customers, cash, and learnings from the AppSumo campaign?

We want to build a product that customers can't live without, we think our userbase from AppSumo will help us get to that destination.
