A: Hi Martin!

Right now, the maximum video length is two minutes. There are a couple of reasons for that:

1.) Rendering capacity: In the early days, my servers could only handle one-minute videos efficiently. I’ve scaled things up since then, and now two minutes works smoothly. I’m planning to increase this limit soon: Ideally three minutes for Full HD and two minutes for 4K.

2.) Viewer engagement: While map visualizations are awesome, videos longer than two minutes often lose viewers’ attention. I want AvoMap videos to stay engaging and concise, not drag on unnecessarily.

Also, just a heads-up: currently, videos longer than one minute cost one extra credit, but this will change in the next AvoMap release, hopefully coming in the next few weeks.
