Q: GDPR, Quickbutton, Password

How GDPR-compliant is Baseline? Where is the data stored? I also have 2 other questions.
Is there a way to have quick access to “Fonts, Colors”? I usually go into the guide and scroll down until I can copy the respective color. It would be ideal if there was a quick button for downloading fonts and colors in addition to the existing buttons.

I also wanted to ask if you have the option of adding user-defined fields. For example, I would also like to save the IMAP data for the customer's email inbox. It would also be great if I could save passwords for the customer at the same time. That would save a lot of time.

Thank you :)

A: I think we are mostly GDPR compliant although we do store the data in the USA. We definitely don't give your data away to anyone except for the purpose of providing our services to our customers.

There is no quick access to those things but that's a good idea. I'll note it down :)

We do have plans to allow for some more customization of the brand guides and what goes into them. Including both custom and private sections, which you could then use for what you mentioned. However we will never recommend storing passwords in Baseline. That's opens up a whole new risk since Baseline is not built to store sensitive data like that.

ok thank you very much. Can you put a section on your website about the GDPR regulation and your policy so that I can refer my customers to it?

I also think that keeping passwords in Baseline is not the best idea.

There are other dedicated solutions for this.
And even those who specialize, like LastPass, have had their share of mishaps.
