Q: Hi there, I'm a little confused by the options.
I simply want to host webinars where people sign up and receive emails letting them know when the webinar starts, I collect the emails, and during the live webinar attendees respond through the chat box, the webinar is recorded and I can download it maybe with a transcript. Is this possible? And if so do I need to connect it to AWS to run the webinars? Thank you!

The AWS link is only needed for video calling between attendees.
If you want to host a ticketed event where attendees experience a live stream that you load into the platform, watch video replays, or browse exhibitor booths, then no link to Amazon is needed.
Chat transcript download for hosts is in progress to release in the new year.
Please let me know if you have any other questions! β€οΈ
Thank you so much! So it sounds like I can use OBS and stream through BeHuman from my computer, would there be a live page to see the live chat something like Zoom has? Do you have a roadmap I can access?
Thank you for your question π
OBS will generate a video stream which you'll send to a network like YouTube, Vimeo, Twitch, Mux.com, etc. and then can load the video into BeHuman.Online for your attendees.
When you have a moment, please check out this video, it gives an outline of embedding videos to your BeHuman.Online event:

About a chat - yes we do have text based chat between attendees. In addition to this, attendees can click each other and send emoji reactions π
