Jan 26, 2026A: Hi VK, thank you for your AppSumo purchase! 🙏 If you want to use video calling then you'll need to link to AWS or 100ms. Linking to Amazon Web Services (AWS) / 100ms is only needed when you want to allow attendees to meet on video such as in the Lounge or in the Private video feature. Many hosts use the platform for online event delivery, managing registrations, evergreen webinar lead capture, among others - none of those need linking to AWS.
About white labeling options, you can brand your domain with a title, favicon (icon on the browser tab), cover graphics, and icons and fonts. You can also style it uniquely for light & dark mode. Similarly, you can brand each event uniquely.
I recommend to explore your events in the Branding and Style areas, and experiment. The best way to work is to have one browser window open with your attendee's view, and the other browser window open with your backend administrative view - this way you can edit and see results in real time.

Thank you for the detailed response. So, can i do "no-video" conferences without AWS? - Can I share presentations and desktops without AWS?
And, i further went through the AWS linkage, it seems simple, must i have a paid AWS account or just an AWS account? Should i purchase AWS credits for video conferencing?
Screen sharing will require linking to AWS or 100ms.live. However if you want to use the platform as a live stream or evergreen webinar venue then no link is required. For example you can create a live stream and push it to YouTube, Vimeo, or use a pre-recorded video from a source like Gumlet, Loom, or from your own RTMP source like Mux.com. Many hosts do exactly this on the platform.

thanks, could you please clarify:Should i purchase AWS credits for video conferencing? - or is it just linking to AWS?
If you want to do video conferencing, you'll need to link to either AWS Chime, or 100ms. AWS Chime requires payment-as-you-go at their per minute rate. 100ms.live offers a free plan with 10,000 minutes monthly - which depending on your use case, may be enough to operate entirely in the free plan.
