Is there a way to play a video with a countdown while people are logged in waiting for the event to begin?
I plan on having just a few participants while live-streaming to other platforms.
Also, can I play my own music during the event. Either by connecting my iPad or having the music easily accessible on my computer?

Live videos on BeHuman.Online come through your live stream source - like YouTube, Vimeo, Mux.com, or your own CDN - so it will be the same source that you are sending to other platforms. The simplest approach here would be to send the count down & music through your live stream.
If attendees login to your event up to 1 hour before the event, then they'll see a countdown page and auto-join the event when it begins, but there isn't music on this step. We are working to allow the ability to customize this countdown page to include your own content - updates coming soon!
