I don’t understand what I currently have (max tier old deal) and why I should upgrade.
Also, I calculated that using 100ms with 200 attendees, 60 minutes, and 4 times a month would cost $650!
Hi Sella,
The Host Pro account allows creating events with a registration capacity of 1,000. The upgraded levels allow to create events with a higher registration capacity.
About forecasted costs using 100ms - in your example of 200 attendees, 60 minutes, and 4 times a month, let's break it down as follows:
The expected cost would be calculated like this:
Monthly attendee minutes = 200 attendees x 60 minutes x 4 times / month
= 48,000 attendee minutes
10,000 included free minutes monthly, which means 38,000 remaining paid minutes to 100ms @ $0.004/minute = $152. However, if you switched over to AWS Chime (after linking in BeHuman.Online, it's one mouse click to switch) - then the cost for the 38,000 minutes would be @ AWS's $0.0017/attendee/minute rate which is expected to cost $64.60.
