This app is building out fast and is going places! I primarily use the Mac app as a replacement to Loom.

First, let's be honest - the Mac app is not 100% flawless. There were times when after several recording sessions I had to restart it and there were a few days when it wasn't compatible with the newest version of Mac (the Chrome extension compensated for the time being). But let's not forget that this Berrycast is a new guy on the block, yet it already blew past much of its much more established competition (cough, cough, StoryXpress). I think in part it's due to a very passionate founder and all energy behind the development. So here are some Pros & Cons!

Pros:
- The Mac app works! So many other programs have mic & recording issues. This app actually works and works well!
- It's fast! I haven't experienced any server speed issues or downtime.
- The author is very generous! 10 users, unlimited storage! We all know Sumo-lings love generous people.
- The app UX is beautiful and practical.
- Product development is very active. Bug fixes are almost instant and the app is evolving quickly.
- The chrome extension works without issues (although the gold is in the desktop app).

Cons:
- Mac app doesn't have a way to check the version number. No way to know if you need an update.
- No auto-update.
- There is no way to get rid of the sticky, green pull-out menu on the screen. It's equivalent to the 1995 MS Office Paperclip, and the biggest con for me. It's responding to accidental mouse-hovers and counts videos. Pls make it go away.

Overall, despite this product being new, it already works fabulously and seeing the energy behind it, I'm super pumped to see where the ship takes us. It's a solid 5-stars from me.
