Happy with Berrycast!
Really enjoying the use of Berrycast. I'm a Windows user, and need an app that can easily record my screen for video presentations. A previous app I purchased failed to build the Windows-friendly version that they had promised and Berrycast does this perfectly. I can even select what section of the screen I want to record. I also love the fact that I can organise my videos in folders, and hold a simple video email conversation with someone if needed (there is a free Berrycast option for them if they don't have an account ). I had a bit of confusion over the need to use keyboard shortcuts to hide/show the tool bar while recording, but my question was promptly answered. Not sure how I missed/ forgot those instructions though. Maybe needs to be more clear to a newbie during onboarding.
I'm looking forward to seeing the addition of a call to action button that can be added to a video when needed. I'd also love to have the option to paste a video thumbnail into an email to encourage someone to click through to the video from the email.
I understand some users don't like the green tab at the side of the screen which you click on to open up the app, but it doesn't bother me. It isn't a problem to hide it when it's not needed. All in all, Berrycast fits my need very well and am happy to recommend it if you need a straightforward video and screen recording app. that will also edit out those awkward intro and outro moments!

May 9, 2024Hi,
Thanks a lot for the review and the support!
- The CTA at the end of the video is on the roadmap right now.
- We will improve the "embedded" feature to allow you copy/paste code for email or website.
- The green widget can be hidden by default in the setting if needed.
