Q: Any plans on offering a hosted version in the future (either with AppSumo or via subscription on your website)?

The knowledgebase and widget look beautiful but I don’t want to deal with the hassle of maintaining WordPress.

That is, keep them restricted for only members with certain wp roles.

Q: FAQ schema?

Hi, I noticed you mentioned it is Schema Ready. But when I test one of your FAQ article with Google tool. It is not an FAQ schema. Below is the result link. It seems like a regular article. This is important to rank in SEO. Please advise. Thank you.

Actually we don't have the FAQ yet, so all of them are using article schema. We'll have separate FAQ builder with proper FAQ schema.

Q: Is it possible to have multiple knowledge bases on the same Wordpress site?

For example, I have two products: ABC and CDE. I want their knowledge bases to be entirely separate like so:

https://example.com/docs/ABC
https://example.com/docs/CDE

When the user searches the knowledge base for ABC, they do not see any articles for CDE in the results.

Q: Really interested in this for our application support...

however I have a couple of questions:

1) Does it support languages? I would ultimately like to offer some articles in multiple languages.
2) Can we change some of the spelling/phrasing throughout the app? For example, in the instant answer popup, there are 3 things I would change:
- 'Answer/Ask' switch, I would change to 'Search/Ask' or similar
- 'Opps...' should be 'Oops..'
- 'How did you feel?' would be 'How helpful was this article?'
3) on your documentation site, there is a massive rearrangement of layout and lazy application of styling. Granted, it loads quickly, but it looks quite messy to start with. Is there a way to overcome this (Chrome/Mac)
4) Where does the feedback/support ticket go? Can we use a webhook to forward that to our support system?

A: It supports WPML and it's translation ready.

You can change the texts.

It was a problem with our caching plugin. It should be better now.

Forms goes to email. You can set the email. If you use ticket system, it will go there.

Q: What will we be missing, or not be able to do, if we don't use Elementor?

Also - one word: DIVI. A lot (make that a L.O.T.) of people use Divi. How about extending the same functionality as with Elementor to Divi? Oh, and did I mention Divi? D-I-V-I...! ;)

A: Actually, there's no dependency with Elementor, just extra integration to design easily within Elementor. But the pages works independently with any theme, also within any builder if you use the shortcodes.

Q: I took 1 code Betterdocs and after trying and test the plugin I would like to increase and buy 2 codes to have a total of 3 codes.

Is it possible? or do I say cancel my first code and then buy the 3 codes? thank you for your reply.

Q: Could I ask you guys to check your own (http://betterdocs.

co) Instant Answer widget on an iOS device (in my case, I’m using an iPhone Xs v13.3) and tell if the widget works properly at your end?

On Decemver 10th, I reported some bugs and glitches (+ some UI/UX improvements) via live that make the widget completely unusable for mobile visitors.

## Examples of Bugs and Glitches:

— When you open an article, it doesn’t open at the beginning (top) of the article. At the same time, scrolling up an article doesn’t work.

— When an article is open, the search field doesn’t work.

— At the bottom edge of an open article, there seems to be a 3px thick transparent gap where you can see content from the same article as if the same article is open in two layers. The back layer is basically bleeding through the front layer. (Screenshot: https://gyazo.com/1dce0813fb6651a658136b3b495ce85c)

— Scrolling sometimes gets stuck on the front layer so you end up scrolling the back layer which you’ll see “moving” through the 3px transparent gap.

## Improvements:

— Increase all input field font sizes to minimum 16px so you don’t trigger the annoying auto-focus zoom where we have to zoom out every time we’re finished typing.

— Remove the widget’s border radius on mobile devices so we don’t get those white corners. (Screenshot: https://gyazo.com/8d99ea78c4d356283351d53baedb4d31)

— When an article is open on mobile, the top part of the widget takes up way too much screen space. Combined with the bottom part, you have slightly less than half the total screen to actually read the content.

When viewing an article, I suggest removing the top part completely and putting two floating “Search” and “Ask” icon buttons instead (perhaps in the top right).

— Make all contact form input field’s look nicer (and match search field accordingly), perhaps set the shadow outside instead of inset box-shadow. Something like this for example: https://gyazo.com/290c7d18a5475d1bf764c35e5e75310c

Overall, I think you’ve got something really cool here with BetterDocs. Make it work, make it sexy. If you’re bold, make the Instant Answer widget sexier than HelpScout’s Beacon. :-)

other deleoped country when you use "Hello dear" and "Sir". May we know the reason why do you use a photo of a caucasian male and EU / US-based name in the chat support? Sligthly concerned getting cheated buying this deal in the long run.

Q: Hello, i am interesting in your plugin but i absolutely need some specific fetures that seem to be available ...

or on the way, but i didn't managed to let them work:

Context: I Run a marketplace (Woocommerce + WCMp) and have 4 kinds of users so i need to separate KB (diferente homepage) or access by user role.
* Customers
* Sellers (specific KB only accessible by them)
* Shop admin (my employees that need some specific KB access too)
* Site admin ( with all doc about general configuration of website).

1/ "Users Access Control"
How does that function works ?
Is it possible to organize KB as stated above ?

2/ Woocommerce compatibility:
I need to be able to attach and add FAQ and KB to products or product categories.
This way, on signle-product page i can display the FAQ related to product and/or product category.

Q: Could you consider "simplifying / cleaning up" the breadcrumb structure, now it doesn't show the area you are ...

at, plus it has messy long title on it, really hard UX.

So instead of:
Home > Docs > How to Configure Analytics to Evaluate the Performance of Your Knowledge Base?

It should be:
Home > Docs > Configurations

Much cleaner and not messy UIX. Plus it makes sense to show the main category.

Q: Hi, Seems great product, here are couple of questions: 1.

Could you add Oxygen to your roadmap for voting? Needs customization like Elementor & BD.
2. Do you have ajax search on roadmap, so that when you type something to search bar it will search as you type (with live dropdown or os)
3 Does BD support Translatepress, Polylang or WPML so we can create docs for multiple languages? Translatepress would be preferred one.

#1. You can already use shortcodes within Oxygen builder, it works, well tested. However we have the plan to add elements like Elementor, will add to our roadmap.

#2. We already have Ajax search and it supports widget, shortcode and Elementor widget too. Please check.

#3. It's compatible with WPML. I hope it will work with other multilingual plugins too. Let me know if you face any issue.
