Q: Backup login methods?
One thing comes to my mind: my access to the platform hangs on a thread - continued access to my email address that I used in the registration. But I can imagine several scenarios in which someone loses access to an email address:
1. own domain: forgetting to renew due to various reasons, life events, etc.
2. own domain: problems with a credit card or payments and losing the domain
3. using an email provider: some AI script falsely flags the user's account as a spammer or something bad and as a result the account is closed, without the user's fault
It worries me a little bit, though it has never happened to me. But I like to think in advance and have backup plans in case something goes wrong. The probability of such events is greater than zero.
So, it would be great if we could provide a backup email address and maybe also a phone no.

We actually did have phone numbers for company owners in the onboarding process, but we've turned this off as AppSumo does not allow to collect this information.
That said, we have had this scenario in the past, and we will unlock the account based on some key questions about the account information, review/reach out on LinkedIN, and perhaps a quick video call to verify as well.
But yes a backup email I can imagine would be very useful!
