Blue.cc offers an impressive range of features that are both intuitive and versatile. The interface is extremely user-friendly, making it easy to get started and manage daily tasks efficiently. Especially noteworthy is the intuitive design, which provides clear structure even for complex projects.

However, one key feature is missing: global tags and fields that aren’t tied to specific projects. Adding this functionality would be a game changer, making organization and categorization across projects much easier.

Unfortunately, there’s a significant downside: the speed. It’s so slow that the tool becomes almost unusable at times. Despite all its strengths, the poor performance holds me back from investing further. Until this issue is resolved, Blue.cc remains a missed opportunity for me.

Conclusion: A great concept, but without improved speed, it’s hard to recommend for professional use.

This is a tool in which tier 1 by itself delivers tremendous value for money and that's what I love about it. IF you run a small business and want a tool to ensure your team is all on the same page and there is a single source of truth then this is a great tool for that.

Blue.cc has diverged from current best-in-class productivity tools on the market. While innovation isn't inherently bad, the absence of baseline productivity features makes these choices hard to justify.

I went all in on Blue.cc, moving my team from Asana with plans to use it for both team and client work. After a few days, it became clear this wasn't going to work for our needs. I've since scaled back to using it solely as a client portal, where it actually performs quite well.

A particular pain point was the migration from Asana. When I asked about importing from Asana, support assured me it was "simple." What they didn't mention was that it's only simple if you're importing basic tasks.

Any tasks with subtasks or complex project structures become orphaned with no manageable way to reconnect them.

The roadmap shows interesting features in development, but it doesn't address many of the core productivity tool deficiencies.

When compared to other tools, Blue.cc is missing fundamental features like:
- Subtasks
- Gantt charts for project planning
- Email-to-task functionality
- True project structures (instead of tasks with checklists)

What Works Well
- Reliable Google Calendar integration
- Functional automations
- Quick support responses
- Regular platform updates
- Available mobile app

Main Issues
- Extremely sluggish mobile app
- Laggy interface causing duplicate task creation
- No subtask functionality (checklists aren't a real substitute)
- Misleading import process
- Support claims "simple" Asana imports but doesn't mention subtask limitations
- Orphaned subtasks with no way to reintegrate
- Complex/near impossible migration process for subprojects
- Support team avoids acknowledging missing features (it took several emails before they admitted there was no easy/manageable way to reconnect subtasks without coding but gave no guidance on how to accomplish this)
- Lacks core project management features (Gantt charts, email-to-task, proper project structures)

The Bottom Line
If you need basic task management, Blue.cc might work for you. It functions well as a client portal, but teams needing comprehensive project management features may want to look elsewhere.

While they're actively developing the platform with an interesting roadmap, it currently lacks essential productivity tools that most teams need.

Coming from Asana, the differences were stark. Blue.cc has made some unconventional choices that might be innovative, but without the baseline features most teams expect, I couldn't make the switch.

Consider your specific needs carefully before committing.

Experience is really good, just have few bugs that I believe will resolve time to time. Rest, I love it.
