As Trello is currently tightening the limits of their free tier, I came across Bloo here on AppSumo. Perfect timing.

Coming in, I didn't have high expectations, especially since we've seen many of these deals and tools. Typically, they'd be overly complicated. So, was intrigued by their homepage headline "‍...that your team actually use".

That turned out to be true!

Just got on Bloo yesterday and I've already spent hours visualizing and managing tasks on it.

No demos are necessary. If your team is comfy with Trello, Bloo is just as straightforward.

To add, Bloo feels like Trello & Basecamp done right in 2021. UI is so snappy. The features make sense for a project and aren't overly ambitious or cluttered. It's legit cross-platform.

It comes with things that pair well with a project Kanban board. Super elegant forms. Files. Automations that you'll *actually* use. Discussions. Green/yellow/red status like Basecamp check-ins. Use what you want, ignore everything else.

The whole thing just makes so much sense. From the list of included features to the copywriting and graphic of "Don't bottle up your feelings". It's implemented beautifully with an app that's snappier than Trello's or Asana's.

Having said those, a couple of UI bits are bothering me...

1.) Each list has a prominent number count. I get that each list primarily serves like a checklist, but I'd rather have no counter. It distracts me far more than it adds value.
