Chatbot setup is relatively simple. However it simply makes stuff up. Even on simple dataset w few dozen rows. Several other products either confusing or gimmicky.

I just love the idea of having a chatbot that getting real time info from google sheets and also much more than that! , I tried many tools but this is the best one.
In addition to that, the support team is amazing, fast response and also personal help with a video call! What can I say more? Probably one of my best purchases on appsumo :)

Love how fast I can crank out bots with botsheets. Only wish is that there was a way to know how much data each bot used so I could re-bill clients based on usage. Other than that, love it! Cinco tacos!

**Review for Botsheet**

I have several bots in use, including Botsheet. Overall, I quite like Botsheet, although I must admit that my experiences are based on the test operation and not on productive use. I will elaborate on the reasons for this later.

On the whole, all important features are present. A particularly positive aspect is the recently added option for an optional confirmation regarding data protection. Another advantage is the ability to store data directly in Google Sheets. However, I have not yet tried chatting with a sheet. Everything is fine and up-to-date.

What has held me back from using the bot productively so far are the connections of websites as data sources for the bot's training. Unlike other solutions where it suffices to provide the domain and subsequently all subpages are captured and used for training, Botsheet requires each page to be specified individually. With more than 100 subpages, this becomes too cumbersome. I hope this changes in the future.

Overall, I give it 4 tacos.

Botsheets is the best chatbot I've used so far, and I've used A LOT of them.

The quality of this tool, along with the ease of setting it up, and its extensive tutorials and documentation place it amongst my top purchases on AppSumo yet (and I'm kind of a collector here, so that's saying a lot).

With that being said, I do miss a few features that would *really* make Botsheets the perfect chatbot:

1) Credit limitations per bot:
As an agency, we might want to resell and/or give access to Botsheets to our clients. Sure, I know that clients can already add their own OpenAI keys, but as an agency, we might want clients to purchase credits directly from us, and have full control over their usage of Botsheets from a single dashboard. Beyond being a much-needed agency feature, this would also help make sure that even if one of our own bots falls victim to a "spam attack", it won't use up all our credits before we even notice.

2) Set the bot's default language:
I'm really missing the option to set the bot's default language in the "Rules" settings. I know the bot can respond in the visitors' native language, but it would still be nice to have a default language set up – and then the bot could always switch from there if needed. This setting should be regardless of what language my training data is in – I might train the bot in English or on English data/materials, but then require it to talk to French-speaking customers, for example.

3) Human take-over option:
I want to be able to monitor ongoing chats in real-time, and take over a chat if needed. I know this is a big feature request, since it would (probably) require a separate dashboard for every bot (possibly even white-labelled with a CNAME for agencies). But in the long-run, this is an absolute must. This would let me step in if the bot is taking the conversation in the wrong direction, or if I see that I have a "hot lead" that I can potentially convert on the spot. Not having this option is the single most significant area that Botsheets falls behind some of the other chatbots that are around (while definitely having an edge on these chatbots in literally every other area).

4) Let me rewrite anything within the bot:
This is just a tiny request, but it would be nice to customize, rewrite, or translate the labels and/or default texts within the bot/dashboards. This feature would mostly be useful for translation purposes (allowing users to translate anything themselves), but I can also imagine other use cases too.

5) More customization options:
It would be nice to be able to fine-tune certain things in Botsheets, regarding how it interacts with users... For example, let's say I'd like to train its writing style (beyond saying just "Witty", for example) to write like me, specifically; or change the speed of typing/responding to inquiries; or add our logo, website, or branded text to the chatbot; or even set the maximum amount of responses it can provide before handing off the conversation to human automatically – I should be able to set all of these on a bot-level.

Grab this deal while you can, Botsheets is already amazing!

And if the devs could perhaps consider adding these additional features, then Botsheets would no longer be "one of the better chatbots out there". No, it would easily become "the best chatbot in existence". Period.

..and I've tried a LOT of them.

Overall I'm very happy with my purchase and have begun using this on a daily basis.

PROS:
- Easy setup. I had a functioning chatbot up and running in 5 minutes.
- Returns perfect answers 99% of the time
- Answer fast
- Clean, simple UI
- Tier 3 offers phenomenal value with easy branding & domain controls

CONS:
- It can only read from the 1 default tab in a connected Google Sheet. If you have multiple tabs, you need to upload them separately to add to the knowledgebase
- Sometimes it didn't return complete answers (Example: My data set has over 1K rows. I asked a question and it should have returned data from 5 rows but it only returned 3)

Despite the minor drawbacks, Botsheets is a keeper for me and perfect for my use case.

Ok in the last year, Appsumo has launched several AI chatbots similar to Botsheets.

Chatbase, Orimon...to name a couple of more notable ones. The million dollar question...

Is Botsheets the same or better?

Chatbase is strong for their API but support is non-existent. Orimon started out promising but now is a hot mess as their founder got too greedy.

What sets Botsheets apart is the active community and awesome support from Josh and Joseph. I had some issues with redemption and they sorted it out like the champs that they are today. Issue resolved in less than 24 hours. Imagine that.

The sky's the limit for Botsheet if Josh and team keep this up.

I bought this for my community and website. I have so many use cases for it. One thing I love is that the answers aren't just generic. You can customize them based on your niche and brand voice. One of my favorites is that it can actually pull website information. This tool will attract more traffic to your site as people return to interact with the AI.

Good luck! I hope you get more sales! Also, don't listen to those negative reviews from people who just hate AppSumo. Test, decide and buy.

I've been using the Botsheets app (Dynamic Galleries) for ManyChat since 2019, and I've always loved the quality of their products.

This is a team that isn't here to make every wish come true. But to build on what's already available and to keep the performance at levels that meet the highest standards.

Josh Barking, one of the co-founders, isn't new to AI at all. He's also the founder of Janis, another SASS that integrates ManyChat with DialogFlow.

I follow Josh closely on Social Media, as I always learn something new about AI from the responses he's been giving to users all these years.

He's a guy who understands what AI needs and should be.

Now that Botsheets is embracing AI, I'm super happy to support their vision to integrate Google Sheets with Open AI for lead generation.

This version will be the more powerful, reliable platform that you can use to create an effective lead generation system powered by AI.

Chatbase and other similar competitors are just not gonna be able to catch up to the experience and performance Botsheets can provide.

This was so easy to set up! It’s so simple to update! I highly recommend!

I noticed that when you update the data points, save, then immediately update the prompt rules, while it saves, it seems like it reverts back to not having the data points. I usually go back to the dashboard, then back to the settings to see the new saved information.

This is already an incredible tool on its own. I whipped up a quick demo for a potential client using their website; it's ready to go and already personalised for them! I did not even utilise Google Sheets yet, which is their bread and butter, or make one using flow builder.

These awesome team behind it have been in the game since before AI was even a buzzword. They've been quietly perfecting their craft for quite sometime now. So if you're still not on board, well, that's your loss.

I really like what I've seen in the roadmap thus far, but this tool has not really reached its full potential yet. Imagine adding some snazzy new features, bells, and whistles to it...like OCR cough cough**

The potential of the chat is indeed promising, especially with its strong response rate and data structuring capabilities. Integrating with third-party software like Anychat.one and Activpieces would definitely enhance its functionality. With the founder's dedication, there is a high possibility of creating one of the top chat platforms in the market.

It's important

As others have mentioned, not sure why this tool doesn't have way more 5-star reviews. It looks and feels great, feels polished has a great onboarding and works out of the box. Was able to get a bot up and running both on a 'bot page' and on my website test page in minutes and I still have to test, but from what i've experienced already, this deserves 5 stars so far. I set the bot on 'witty' mode and very much like the conversational output. Probably there is a bit of 'ai fatigue' happening in the appsumo community, but i've been here long, tested many, many similar software, and this one so far is a winner. Forget the fatigue for a moment and give this a shot..it's pretty much risk-free with 60 days to test and get a refund if you're not happy, so why not. Keep up the great work Botsheets!

Having several chatbot, but thinking structural sheets is really mindblowing. Botsheets really one of the best that i've tried. Besides, the bot that also support with Analytical knowledge is also on progress looking forward for this. So we will really have an assistant that supports on sales, analytics, stock management, trends, and so much more in chatbot styles!

I only scratched the surface and I already fall in love with Botsheets . I used a bunch of other chatbots but this one is by far the best. A little Gems and I’m happy that I’m on board . Like some others have said I can’t understand why there’s not more hype around this tool. Grab it before you regret it.

For what you pay, you get good value. Limits are generous, it is stable despite being new, support is quick to answer and there is a good roadmap.

I am thoroughly impressed with Botsheets and would like to give it a five-star review. The support is exceptionally fast; every email I send is responded to within just a few hours. Even when I requested a free ManyChat plugin license via email, Josh Barkin replied within an hour with the complimentary license.

Within just one month of purchasing Tier 3, Botsheets has added features such as Cname, training chatbots using multiple Google Sheets, Webhook integration, and more. The Botsheets community on Facebook is lively and effective.

I am looking forward to Botsheets integrating directly with Messenger and WhatsApp soon. Thank you!

I won't repeat some of the other reviews. Read Jimmy-George's review. CNAME has been added, so the bots are on your own agency domain. Multiple Sheets has been added too. Data analysis (code interpreter) is coming soon, so that will give an interesting new dimension. Support is very responsive. As with all ChatGPT-based products, they will still hallucinate sometimes - so don't expect perfect answers all the time. The base prompt is key - so if things don't quite work as intended, edit that! Seriously, edit the prompt. If you can't, learn how! It also interfaces with other bots like Manychat, handy for some, but I don't need it. I've got Chatbase - happy with that too, but I think Botsheets handles notifications better (compared to the last time I used Chatbase). The top tier of Chatbase was 40 chatbots, Botsheets is unlimited. Botsheets obviously emphasises the Sheets integration, but you can train with other sources like their competitors - or even no sources at all if you want vanilla GPT4-turbo. It may be relatively late to the game and you may be getting chatbot fatigue on Appsumo, but make no mistake, this is a keeper (at the time of writing!).
