What are past projects, failures, or successes you’ve had in your career?
Hello, I'm Matthias Neumayer, co-founder of Branding5. Over the past decade, my journey in branding and media production has been both diverse and enriching.
One of my significant ventures was co-founding beatframes, an independent creative consultancy and media production company based in Vienna. For six years, we collaborated with esteemed clients like Ruefa, the Austrian Medical Chamber, and Red Bull 400, producing branded entertainment, TV and radio campaigns, and podcasts. This experience honed my skills in delivering comprehensive creative solutions.
In addition to beatframes, I have worked on various commercial projects, including campaigns for Stadt Wien, Swing Kitchen, Manhattan Fitness, and Verbund. These projects allowed me to blend storytelling with strategic branding, resulting in compelling narratives that resonate with audiences.
My academic background in film studies and law, combined with hands-on experience in brand consultancy roles at agencies like Young & Rubicam, has provided me with a unique perspective on branding. This interdisciplinary approach enables me to navigate both the creative and strategic facets of brand development effectively.
These experiences, both successes and challenges, have culminated in the creation of Branding5. Our goal is to democratize high-level brand strategy, making it accessible and actionable for startups, agencies, and indie creators worldwide.

What’s the origin of the idea for your product?
The idea for Branding5 came from years of frustration watching startups and small businesses struggle with something I’ve helped big brands solve for years: clear, strategic branding.
As a brand consultant working with agencies like Young & Rubicam and later running my own creative company, I saw the same gap over and over.
Founders knew their product, they had a vision, but when it came to articulating what their brand stood for, how it should look, sound, or position itself in the market, they were stuck.
Most didn’t have the budget for an agency.
Many weren’t sure where to start.
And those who tried DIY branding tools ended up with generic templates that didn’t reflect their unique value.
I teamed up with my co-founder Dima, who’s brilliant with data and AI systems, and we asked a simple question:
What if we could build a tool that delivers real brand strategy and marketing insights, like an agency would, but in minutes instead of weeks?
That’s how Branding5 was born.
It’s designed to help founders like the ones I’ve worked with for years—ambitious, creative, but short on time and resources—get the clarity they need to build standout brands.
We didn’t just want to automate branding.
We wanted to empower people to own it.
What problem is your product solving and how?
Branding5 solves the problem most startups and small businesses face when building their brand and marketing strategy: they don’t know where to start, what their brand stands for, or how to position themselves effectively.
Traditional branding processes are expensive, slow, and often inaccessible to early-stage founders. Agencies charge thousands and take weeks or months to deliver a strategy. DIY tools, on the other hand, are often too shallow, generic, or disconnected from actual market data.
Branding5 bridges that gap.
