Q: Do we get a refund? ("labeled V2 for simplicity, will not be granted to LTDs.")

This was in my email today from Breakcold:

>> As a SaaS, we had our ups and downs and hit a wall last year.

We made the tough decision to restart Breakcold from scratch: new product, new codebase, new database, new everything to try to make it in this crazy CRM market.

This new product, labeled V2 for simplicity, will not be granted to LTDs. >>

And again it feels like being cheated, as with some other Appsumo deals. And after 2 years we can't get a refund.

Or do we?

Hey there!

A bit more than 3 years ago, we launched on AppSumo.

As a SaaS, we had our ups and downs and hit a wall last year.

We made the tough decision to restart Breakcold from scratch: new product, new codebase, new database, new everything to try to make it in this crazy CRM market.

I’m not going to lie. I feel betrayed by their actions. I want my money back. They always promise that we’ll be part of any future upgrades and then abandon us.

I hope he reconsiders his decision.
🤔
Otherwise, he'll lose all credibility.

And I wouldn't recommend it, because nothing is ever lost on the internet.

Yes, Jack.S, indeed! I hope Arnaud does not underestimate the repercussions.

Totally agree. I also feel cheated (not the first time here on AppSumo). It's so easy to promise "all future updates" and then release a V2 with no rights for LTD. It's really frustrating.
