You can set fields required on a field-by-field basis (or, conversely, you can *not* set required to leave it as optional). So you can have all required, all optional, or a mix-and-match.

By default right now, we have fields as optional per user request — but we are open to changing that at some point. Please don't hesitate to leave feedback/ideas on the product roadmap link in the "From the founders" area.
