Q: PCI Compliant - Credit Card Information
I am a travel agent and my clients are required to complete a credit card authorization form for every payment they make for a trip. Is Quick Signer, PCI compliant, or PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard)? Meaning is there adherence to a set of security standards designed to protect cardholder data during transactions. My host agency requires PCI compliant digital signing platforms to protect client's credit card information.

To answer your question directly, BreezeDoc is not currently PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard) compliant.
While we prioritize the security of all documents and data on our platform through measures like encryption, achieving a specific certification like PCI DSS is a distinct and rigorous process that we have not completed at this time.
For collecting credit card authorization forms, we strongly advise against capturing full, unredacted credit card numbers and CVV codes directly within the document fields. This is a security best practice to protect your clients' sensitive data. BreezeDoc is ideal for obtaining the legally binding signature and the client's authorization on the form, while the full payment card details should be handled through a dedicated PCI-compliant payment gateway or processor as required by your host agency.
We are always working to improve our platform and consider all user feedback for our future roadmap.
Should you have any more detailed security questions, please feel free to reach out to our support team. We appreciate you considering BreezeDoc and are here to help if you have any other questions.
