they increase the Tier 1 by at least 5 more members. Right now, 16 seems limiting as we cannot share with others out of my company with an external link/url. So it's not quite share friendly.
A pity cos Videos are meant to be shared.
Pros The UI is simple and easy to understand. Videos are easy to record and render. Storage is generous.
Cons 16 team members for Tier 1. Essentially, we are forced to buy Tier 2. Cannot share link with "outsiders"
I see some other team copying this idea (they always do) and come to Appsumo with more generous limits later on so for that reason, I'm hesitate in upgrading to Tier 2.
This is a very interesting concept. The ability to have many members contribute to create one, beautiful video is super neat. The UI and UX are exquisite. It's extremely simple to dive in, get set up, invite your team members, and create easily shareable content with the rest of your team.
The end result is stunning and effective.
A few things that would go a long way would be:
1) The ability to screenshare/capture your screen. I didn't see any way to do this, not without using a program like ManyCam to replace my webcam input with a screen capture + webcam overlay, so while that works, it's not an ideal solution. There are definitely times where it would be fruitful to screenshare, present a slideshow, etc. to your team
2) Easy public sharing. Right now, you're beholden to your team, and your team only. I know this is on the roadmap, but I think your mileage goes much, much farther if you can share this with others too, especially clients, contractors, etc. who you may not want invited to your organization, but could still get value out of receiving insights and updates from your company's core team.
Overall, I'm really, really impressed with the execution of Breve. It's definitely a 2022 product and has great trajectory if it can broaden its use case ever so slightly. Should it become the next Loom? Yeah, maybe, because there are very few alternatives that have native collaboration built-in. Making itself *too* unique might be its downfall, but this definitely has promise with a pretty generous deal to boot.
Some might be turned off by the branding, but hey, I wouldn't be too bothered by it. I rather something work, and work well, and apply its branding than something janky with the ability to white-label, especially for internal teams that are less concerned about whether or not you have a white-label product. THAT BEING SAID...if maybe Tier 3 did unlock branding removal, not so much white-labeling, that might make some folks happy, while providing enough "skin in the game" to warrant it for Breve.

Hiya!
Thank you so much for the detailed and very kind review. We are blushing ☺️
Just to note: you are able to share your screen when recording (including a camera overlay!) just choose “My Screen” under the Set up tab on the recording screen. This is a good prompt for me to write a knowledge base article walking through this!

So unless limits change, buy at your own risk.
