SPCteamSteveQ: Can I prevent Google Maps Integration?
I currently have a Tier-6 & a couple of Tier-4 sites (with more on the radar)... The Google Maps 'required' integration doesn't seem to be able to be switched off. I don't need it & don't want it. I may want/need to add it later, but at the current time I don't want to deal with it. Can this be turned off (in a way that I can enable later if desired)?

Yes — you can absolutely disable Google Maps and location-based searches if you don’t need them. Many directories, like software review sites, don’t require maps at all.
