Q: Can I set up subdirectories with in?
We've got a real estate company & we work with a few different segments. We want our users to be able to search by that segment. For instance 'resources for home buyers' 'custom home builders' 'resources for home sellers' -- We also want to be able to filter by City or Region in addition to segment by type.
For instance if I'm a home buyer in orlando florida I would want to access just the resources of that area.
They would all go in the same directory, since some of the services would be used in multiple segments - like a roofer. All 3 segments can use roofers.
Let me know how this works and if I can do that with Brilliant Directories

Setting Up Subdirectories and Filters:
1. Subdirectories and Segments:
– Yes, you can set up subdirectories within Brilliant Directories to organize your content by different segments such as ‘resources for home buyers,’ ‘custom home builders,’ and ‘resources for home sellers.’ Each segment can be a category or subcategory within your directory, allowing users to search and navigate based on their specific needs.
2. Filtering by City or Region:
– You can also enable filters by location, such as city or region. This allows users to find resources relevant to their specific area. For instance, a home buyer in Orlando, Florida, can access resources specific to that location.
3. Combining Segments and Locations:
– Users can search by both segment and location simultaneously. For example, a roofer can appear under multiple segments like home buyers, custom home builders, and home sellers. Users can filter results to show only the resources relevant to their segment and location.
Example of Implementation:
• Categories: Create main categories for each segment (e.g., Home Buyers, Custom Home Builders, Home Sellers).
• Subcategories: Add subcategories for specific services (e.g., Roofers, Inspectors).
• Location Filters: Use location filters to enable users to narrow down their search by city or region.
This setup allows you to manage and display a comprehensive directory where users can easily find the resources they need based on both the type of service and their location.
