Q: Coaching
Hi, I’m exploring Brilliant Directories for two purposes:
I run a coaching group programme and would like to set up a members-only site where members can access exclusive content and participate in a group forum (like a Facebook group, but without private member-to-member messaging).
I’m also launching a local coffee morning network. I'd like to charge a membership fee for access to event info, local business listings, and downloadable resources.
Does Brilliant Directories support these features? And would this setup be manageable under one site or would I need two?
Thank you!
Taf

Yes — Brilliant Directories can definitely support both of those use cases, and you can manage them under one site if you’d like. Here’s how:
• 🔒 Members-Only Content: Restrict access to pages, downloads, and content based on membership level.
• 🧠 Group Forum-Style Interaction: Use the built-in Discussion Forum without enabling private messaging between members.
• 💳 Paid Memberships: Set up multiple membership plans with different pricing and access levels.
• 📍 Local Listings: Add and organize business listings by location, category, or membership tier.
• 📂 Digital Downloads: Upload files like PDFs or resources that only members can access.
This setup is fully manageable on one site by creating separate member tiers or categories for each audience. If you ever want to keep the brands or audiences fully separate, a second site is also an option.

Thank you so much for the prompt reply Jason. I have two different domains for these businesses. Should I purchase Tier 1 for each one separately or can it work another way? If you ever want to keep the brands or audiences fully separate, a second site is also an option. I thinking of getting Tier 3.
Also, is the built-in Discussion Forum available on all Tiers?
Thanks
Thanks for the follow up. For 2 different domains you’ll want to pick up a separate tier for each. Each tier is for 1 website. Tier 1 is a good place to start and you’ll quickly learn if any of the higher tiers are for you. Keep us posted!
