Q: Improve of the Wordpress plugin?

Hi,

I bought BD at the last time here on sumo. While the system is ok, it really sucks with payments using just an invoice. Most of our users are companies, they normaly buy via invoice in Germany and Switzerland. But that does only work for us with a workaround offering a free trial, generating an invoice manually (well if the company has already filled out the neccessary data of course), sending out invoice manualy, looking at the bankaccount, then check the account as paid.

We deal with it, but it's no fun. Now the new Wordpress plugin, it seems, you can just sync new registered users to BD and also give them only one special BD membership. But we have several, like for startups, business and so on. Will you expand the features soon, so we can sell the memberships also via Woocommerce? That would be a gamechanger!

Really appreciate you sharing your workflow — and you’re right, invoice-based payments can be a bit more manual at the moment. One approach is to create the charge directly from the Admin Panel and then have the user log in to pay it online, which can help simplify things a bit. But your feedback is spot on, and we’re always looking for ways to make processes like this more efficient.

As for the WordPress plugin — great news! In July, we’re releasing an update to the Brilliant Directories Sync for WooCommerce plugin that will allow you to assign different membership plans based on which WooCommerce product was purchased.

This update should make it much easier to support tiered memberships like startups vs. business plans directly through your WooCommerce checkout.
