Butternut AI - Plus Exclusive Reviews

I honestly don't even know where to start with my frustration with this product.

I purchased Tier 4 for $699, and what the platform is today feels completely different from what I originally purchased. The entire structure of what's included has changed, and the new credit system makes absolutely ZERO sense to me.

Here's the part that really pushed me over the edge:

We used credits already in our account to build a website. We completed the site, went to connect it to a domain and get it online... PAYWALL.

Why?

If I've already purchased Tier 4, have credits in my account, and used those credits to create the website, why am I being asked to pay AGAIN just to connect the finished site to a domain?

And this hasn't happened once. We've run into variations of this several times.

I've contacted support asking for a clear explanation of exactly what our Tier 4 purchase now includes, how these credits actually work, and why we're repeatedly hitting additional paywalls. The answers I've received either haven't made sense or haven't actually answered the question.

My last inquiry asking specifically WHY we're being charged again after using our existing credits wasn't answered at all.

At this point, it's become a waste of both time and money.

The crazy part is that I still have a substantial number of credits sitting in my account. But why would I continue burning through them building websites if I don't know whether I'm going to hit another paywall when it's time to actually put the site online?

That's not a usable business tool for us.

Platforms evolve. Pricing models change. I understand that. But when someone purchases a high-tier lifetime deal, there needs to be clear communication about what changed, what their original purchase still entitles them to, and exactly where additional charges now apply.

Right now, I don't have that clarity.

And until I do, those remaining credits can sit right where they are. I'm not investing another minute building something I may have to pay again to actually use.

I have managed and built my own website for my small business, but it was an incredibly arduous task. I purchased Butternut AI and, after just a few practice runs, stopped using it. When my self-created WordPress site encountered a critical error during plugin upgrades, it became severely compromised. I was so overwhelmed by the prospect of attempting repairs that I felt immense frustration and headache.

However, I am now reconstructing my site with Butternut AI, and the experience has been truly astonishing! I no longer wish to handle WordPress manually. I am truly grateful to the Butternut AI team for their outstanding support and innovation.

Just waoooooooo, this is perfect for someone like me that doesn’t know how to build websites and write blogs this is a one stop shop and much more. Ive built a few site and they are already ranking on google search results with the ai . Even though Ive seen a lot of people posting about the ai content is no good this Butternut Ai is writing wonders definitely recommend 💯 % Appsumo this wins the biggest Gem of the year.

While this is probably the best implementation of "AI Website Builders" I have purchased and tried, it is far from providing a truly positive experience for me. The inability of incorporating a wide header image seems to be common among the templates that I was assigned. The "AI", while incorporating some of the keywords in the brief description you're allowed to provide, it does not seem to use those, or understand the needs of the site described. For instance, building a site for a podcast includes sections for your "services" but not your "episodes." And while you can add-on a blog page, it does not seem to know when a site should have a blog. The system seems to have a singular concept in mind and the AI is merely creating starter content to fill those blocks.

The goal may have been "simplicity" to get the site built, but I feel that a more in-depth "interview" would help guide the design, if the AI is actually able to use that information to generate the pages needed. Other platforms have the more in-depth interview, but they also lack the capability to customize the pages required to satisfy the "client's" needs.

I will give you props for a fairly good blog implementation. Though needing to have it in two windows, one for content and one for SEO and thumbnail, is not intuitive.

Pros:
-Easy set up for those with little coding knowledge
-Free hosting
-Ai generator is extremely helpful

Cons:
-Can not view/edit the full page code (would be helpful for further customisation
-Can not easily add a coding section with HTML,CSS & JS without using the ai generator first
-SSL certificate doesn't seem to be working on mine. My site keeps saying 'Not secure' despite a green tick in settings.

What I'd like to see:
- Fix/solutions to the items in the cons section
- potential for e-commerce or easy integration with Shopify, with an applicable owner dashboard for management
- A product roadmap with upcoming features

If there's plans to add these in the future then this will easily be a top tier product!
