I’m really happy with BuzzHooks! The entire platform is well structured, intuitive, and easy to use. Everything feels thoughtfully designed, and the variety of AI models available in one place is a huge plus.

What really stands out to me is the team behind it. Whenever something doesn’t work as expected, support responds quickly and genuinely tries to help. They also take user feedback seriously and regularly introduce updates and improvements. It’s great to see a team that actually listens to its community and keeps working to make the product better.

I especially love having access to different AI models and workflows without having to jump between countless different platforms. The flexibility and the ongoing development make BuzzHooks an incredibly valuable tool for my creative projects.

I picked up Tier 3, and BuzzHooks has already become one of my go-to tools when I need ideas for short-form videos.

The hook library is what first stood out to me. Coming up with the concept is usually the part that takes me the longest. Having 2,400+ hook presets, viral scenes, and UGC presets gives me a place to start instead of staring at a blank screen.

I also like having both Ad Director and Cinema Studio. Ad Director can take a brief and a few reference images and turn them into a concept with scenes. When I already know what I want, Cinema Studio gives me more control to build it out.

BYOK is a big reason Tier 3 made sense for me. Connecting my own key increases the monthly allowance from 5,000 to 50,000 credits, and I can choose the provider and model that makes sense for the video. Options like H3 Max and Wan 3.0 give me more control over what each video actually costs.

The team has been moving fast, too. They’ve added models, more BYOK providers, 1080p output, and videos up to 30 seconds in a short amount of time. I’ve also seen the founder respond to reviews with real answers, which I appreciate.

Where I’d love to see BuzzHooks go next is production. It already has a strong creative side, but if it added the tools to make and manage videos in batches, I could see it becoming a complete workflow for TikTok Shop sellers. I’d especially like to see:

Product imports from a TikTok Shop showcase or product URL
Automatic background removal and 9:16 resizing for product images
Bulk product and text overlays on my own clips without using AI credits
Batch assembly of generated clips, my footage, and overlays into multiple video variations
Reusable presets I can save and run again with a different product
An AI editor that removes filler words and dead air from UGC and talking-head clips
A one-prompt slideshow builder for TikTok photo posts
Monthly credit rollover

I’m happy with my Tier 3 purchase so far. BuzzHooks is already useful for getting from an idea to a video, and I’m interested to see where the team takes it. If the batch and production features get added, it could be especially strong for people creating TikTok Shop content at scale.

I've been playing around with BuzzHooks and I really like the approach.

What stood out to me is that you don't have to start from scratch and figure out the whole video yourself. The hooks and presets give you a good starting point, and the Ad Director is especially useful for coming up with the concept and scenes.

I also like Cinema studio but I would really like more options there, like editing an regenerating a specific part.

One thing I'd really like to see is more presets and templates for different industries. For some specific niches, the number of relevant presets can feel a bit limited. Hopefully the team keeps adding more of these.

Another feature I'd love to have is the ability to stitch my own video at the end. For example, use a Buzzhooks generated video to grab attention, then have my own video play right after it. I can already do this with external tools, but having it all in one place would make the workflow much easier.

There are still things I'd like to see improved, but the product is clearly being developed quickly.

For me, the biggest advantage is saving time. Instead of spending hours figuring out what to make and writing and rewriting prompts, I can start with an idea and get something going in a considerably short time.

Very happy with the purchase so far and looking forward to seeing where they take it.

I bought this for service business ads mostly which I thought was their main pitch. I attached my key from fal.ai and went through the various templates they had.

First, the cost. I had 1500 credits from tier 2. I generated 3 videos total — one 15 second video with Seedance 2.5, and two 15 second videos with Seedance 2.0. Generating 45 seconds of total video used all 1500 credits AND cost me $27 in API charges on fal.ai. The credits should have covered both Seedance 2.0 videos but I was charged via API for the Seedance 2.0 usage. It seems like I may have been billed twice for the same generations — once in Buzzhooks credits, once on my own API key.

As far as the templates go, they're engaging — things like a paris motorcycle chase or a sloth at the front door kind of stuff. But if you're running ads, you're targeting a specific type of person. These templates are going to get more views, but I don't think they'll attract the right views. It may work for eComm type businesses with products that have mass market appeal, but not for local or service based businesses or anyone targeting a specific buyer type.

On top of the cost, 2 of my 3 videos had typos! lol. The logo was some nonsense in one, and in the other it spelled "paid" as "paied" in very clear white overlay text that not one person is going to miss. It also wrote somewhat nonsense sentences without proper grammar.

And if you want to fix those errors, you have to re-generate the entire video, which runs about $10 each time in my experience.

That's partly on me though — I didn't closely read over the prompt Buzzhooks generated before hitting go. It didn't occur to me that it would make those mistakes or cost that much per video, so I was just playing around to see what it could do. The AI video platform controls the majority of the video quality, so Seedance may well be the one that produced the typos and bad grammar.

Now the positives: it's new, so there's grace for sure. It's great if you don't want to write out a script (or use AI to write one) and you're not sure what to create. It'll come up with something creative and it'll be decent. Very user friendly layout, pretty clear how to use it, and it looks nice. Video will come down in price over time, so locking in a platform that could become great in the near future isn't a bad idea. I'm not keeping it personally — it's too far from my specific needs at the moment but I think it's worth trying it out yourself.

For the team: if you're pitching business ads as your USP, you may want to add far more templates that apply to service businesses and not just eComm. Consider adding more AI models to the roster so people can use their favorites. The cost of both Buzzhook credits and API usage is high — I know you're small and you can't buy in bulk, but that's definitely something to work on. If there's any way to make your video generation more efficient to save credits, I'd look into that. And obviously, make the videos editable so you don't have to regenerate the whole thing over one typo.
