May 14, 2024A: TBH, I ❤️Appcues, but we are a little different than walkthrough products.
The key difference is that Candu content blocks embed into a page, not as a layer on top of the page.
(We don't offer modals, pop-ups or walkthrough guides)
However, we are often used for similar use cases as pop-over tools, such as onboarding, contextual education and feature adoption. Better for a more native experience that a user can refer back to. Not as good for drawing attention.
Candu does offer integrations with walkthroughs -- for example embedding a permalink guide into a button.
