Q: Howdy Jonathan, Welcome to AppSumo!

I am confused as to the use cases for this app solution.

It is mentioned as customisable embedded solution for apps, meaning software only - with a login?

Though it is mentioned that Google Tag Manager can be connected to Candu!?

So, can Candu be embedded to websites/landing pages where you can have dynamic content like having a section on the home page that shows content for new visitors, (like a welcome) but changes if they are revisiting - and - if they visited page A they get message skewed to service A - or - page B they get message relevant to B and so on... depending if they accept cookies and dont clear cache etc...
All with the ability to change content in Candu without changing the embedded code on the website/landing page?
If this is the case

A: Hey!

Yes, Canu could be used in-app (post-login) or on a website (pre-login).

Yes, you can install Candu in your app via GTM https://docs.candu.ai/developer/installing-candu-via-gtm

Re dynamic content:
Today we do not support variables like "Hi [first_name]", but we do support creating different content that is mapped to different user groups. So for example, if you identify an account as "Fintech" or "Ecommerce" you can display different content to them.
Here is more information about our Segments feature: https://docs.candu.ai/segments

Let me know if this answers your question!

Thank you,
Adam

You said you were confused, but you nailed the use case!

Yes, once a Candu component is installed on a page, you can push content changes to a website without code. The other main benefit is that you can personalize the page content depending on the users' lifecycle (new vs. returning user) or via the user segment (big vs. small account).
