Q: So can we use this across multiple applications or not?

I was reading through some questions and answers here and was under the impression there might be some issues with that.

1. Is it true that the same style guide is used for all websites?

2. How are users segmented from each other? Can we assign users only to specific components?

A: 1. So can we use this across multiple applications or not?

Hello! The short answer is you can use the same Candu account to inject content on different domains. You just need to whitelabel the relevant domains. For example, we inject Candu content onto our marketing site, our docs site, our community forum, and, of course, our product.

However, each account shares a styleguide, so you'd need to have different accounts if the domains had unique styles. We do have an open feature request to enable multiple syleguides per account: https://community.candu.ai/c/content-editor/can-i-have-multiple-styleguides

2. How are users segmented from each other? Can we assign users only to specific components?

Users can be segmented based on their user ID and any traits that are collected on the users' identify call. And yes, you can connect components with specific user segments. For example, sharing an announcement bar only if a user hasn't yet used a feature.

1. The second question follows the context of the previous question.

Users here are the users you refer to in user seats.

2. Will you take that request seriously? I don't see that it's good to have any sort of style guide forced across multiple components even if they were for 1 unique project.

You're asking if we can limit who can edit which component, yes?

We just released the first version of role-based access controls (RBAC). Limiting who can edit specific components will be part of the enterprise bundle.

And to answer the answer on multiple styleguides, absolutely — it's a great idea that we know will be useful.

This doesn't answer the question.

You released it but then there's something that will be part of something else that is not what is being offered here?

Not clear.

Sorry, I think I'm getting a little confused by the weird threading on appsumo.

If you have time to share your feedback, I'd love to hear it.
