Might Actually Be The Biggest Game Changer for SaaS
Candu takes a little bit to get your head wrapped around it, solid 20 minutes of exploring needed. But once you do, the value and possibilities click.
How much fluff are you're fire developers making? Fancy notification bar, fancy static HTML blocks and checklist. No. As a founder/business owner you want them to be churning out business logic.
Candu is great for making sure the fluff is easily manageable but also integrates with your application. Popups are cool, but you're not going to throw up popus everywhere for everything you want a solid 'Welcome Dashboard' or 'Check this out" that's flush with your app.
I'm personally integrating Candu throughout my app and look forward to seeing it grow but a few things I would like to see:
1) More ways to create segments than just by using Segment. Maybe an API or webhooks or direct integration with WordPress user roles would go miles. Or if we can tag/segment based on existing tags from like Mailchimp/Moosend or so on.
2) Hopefully down the road, persistent states will come up? Like checking a checklist keeps it checked per user, forever.
3) Integration with another onboarding tool on Appsumo, Lou. I think these two tools would go well together. (for segmented, etc)
Overall, a fantastic tool that will slice through developer fluff and give you back control of static dashboards/blocks. Heavily reliant on Segment for tag/segmenting but with more options to expand upon that, Candu is gold.

Great feedback. I've added it to our community site.

We do offer persistent checklist! The one exception to this is if you install via the iFrame method.

I'll check it out!
