Update: Just wanted to update my review. This is one of my top 5 favorite AppSumo Purchases.

I have used this for 2.5 years now. It keeps getting better. I love it. I saw some people giving Castmagic a hard time because they came back with a different offer. I think that is not fair. They are completely different deals and the math works out for us early adopters. Would I love more minutes, absolutely. If I could go back in time, I would have maxed it out. The new deals are more money but you get more minutes. But if you do the math backwards, the early supporter got a better deal.

Castmagic keeps getting better. I have seen some major improvements. People complain about the Youtube links not working, I just use a downloader and upload the videos. I like to have the videos anyway for future use. I use SurFast Video Downloader that I also got from here and Vidjuice which I got from another "lifetime" site.

I love the output. It is great. Castmagic is great. I highly recommend it. I use the Coach mode the most. It generates a lot of stuff.

Some things I would love to see in the future would be:

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE. Allow us to SAVE our settings as a default. I make a new folder (new space) for each bit of research that I do. And I have to put in all the same settings that I use over and over, every time. I really thought that you guys would have fixed it early on. Just have a profile that fills in these automatically.....

I would also love to be able to add "custom prompts" to a classification like "Coaching"
So, the coaching section has 11 AI things that it does. You can add your own custom prompts to make it make more products. It would be awesome if I could add it to the complete "Coaching" section, so that it generates it automatically. So instead if we had 11 things and then I add 2 more things to make 13 things, then those 13 things would be the default from then on.

Basically, all the things you have to add, the things you use over and over...have to be added manually.

I would also love if I could just DRAG the order of the recordings instead of relabeling them. It is complicated. So, if I upload 10 recordings, that are in a sequence, it gets labelled by what is uploaded 1st. So it mixes them up. I should be able to drag the order of the episodes.

Last thing I would love to see. I would just love to be able to download as a PDF, not just a CSV. A PDF, for example, of the 11 things in the "coaching" recurring content, would be amazing. Properly formatted. maybe a word file too.

I love it as it is, but as a heavy user, those things would make it just off the charts awesome. It is already one of my favorite things I bought from Appsumo and I have purchased like 100 things by now.

I bought this almost 2 years ago now and I use it a lot. I will be using it for podcasts that I produce in the future. For the last two years, I have been using it to go through learning materials and extract the best information. I have been writing a book and it helps me look for ideas and make quizzes and such. I love it.

Some companies nickel and dime you for each thing you want to produce, but Castmagic allows you to export all the things you want, and even add your own. I have uploaded podcasts, audiobooks, videos on random subjects, my own audio, and a lot of other stuff. It produces awesome things.

I also like how the output content is written. Some other programs that do similar things but I do not like the writing. Castmagic does a good job of that too.

Here is what would make it better for me. I do not like how it looks. I know that is petty but I just dislike the aesthetic.

You also have to dig to find how many minutes you have left. You have to click on a bunch of stuff to go to billing to check.

I also would love if you could save a general writing sample instead of putting it in every time.

I also do not really know what the content pipeline is, but that is my fault, I should learn. I also added some community prompts and I would like them to automatically be added to my previous content as options. You can do it, but only 1 by 1. I have 30 or 40 spaces (folders). You have to click them one at a time.

It sounds like a lot of suggestions, but I have used it a lot and those are just things that have bugged me. But this gets better all the time. They are working on it.

I love the new Magic Chat and just tested it yesterday. It works fantastic – you just click on the recordings you like and use AI to ask questions. I have another program (that is more science-based) that I wish was this easy. It would be good if you could SAVE the magic chat prompt to reuse it.

Anyway, that is about it. It is one of my top 5 purchases from Appsumo. Letterly, YT CopyCat, Maekersuite, are some of my other favorites.
