Great support
I get that nothing is perfect in an app, but as long as support is good and responsive then I'm very happy with it. Support has been great so far, helped me fix a small issue I had. And the deal itself is awesome if you're wanting to add chat support for multiple businesses/projects that you own since you can have a separate chat widget and knowledgebase for each of your websites.

Failing to train and emails go to spam
I really want to like the application, it has a lot of promise but I’m having some issues. I pointed it to my documentation site, and then had to manually add pages. For some reason we can’t feed it a site map or a list of pages, it’s very manual and tedious. So instead of adding all 73 pages to train, I added my top 10 pages. All 10 failed to get the data on the site.
Next major issue is that they don’t support DKIM for their email. We have to connect it to our email with SNMP. I asked about the DKIM and I was pointed to a feature request page where DKIM has been open for two years. You would think that if your support tickets are going to spam because of DKIM, it would be a priority fix to make sure customers of their customers are not struggling with spam issues.
I like the product and I hope they really fix the issues. Also one more annoying thing, I went back and forth with support about the DKIM and they closed my ticket each time, every time I responded I got a new ticket email instead of continuing my ticket issue.

Apr 13, 2026Hello Zerker, Yes training using entire sitemaps and DKIM are on our backlog. For DKIM the current workaround is to use your SMTP settings and Charla allows that integration. If you faced issues capturing the site information, please ping us at [email protected] and we will look into it, probably something with the url structure that was added.

edit: after scrolling down and seeing some of the less-than-5-taco reviews from over the last year (I think I bought years ago but never quite started using), the ppl are being lazy complaining for support here with low reviews instead of just rsrching how to do something or asking charla support in the appropriate channel. I feel bad since they should be at 5 tacos if not for those sort of reviews so keep supporting these ppl guys we all know they are the best. 5.5/5
