Q: Hi, I have a membership site in which users answer a set of questions that are stored in Google Spreadsheet.
Is it possible to use Chartmat to visualize each individual user's data by user's ID in their members area?
Lets say I want to create a dashboard with 10 charts, will it be possible that every user will be linked to a specific section in Google Spreadsheet so every user's dashboard will show user-relevant results
Also, is it possible to divide users to users with different permission levels, so they will see different sets of data?

May 14, 2024A: Hi there,
We have recently introduced filters to Chartmat so you can filter the data that is displayed.
What you would need is a special filter that shows only the data of the user that is logged in, something like
Filter: User = "current user"
we don't have that filter implemented yet but I can clearly see the benefits of it. i will add this suggestion to the idea section of our Roadmap.
With regard to access rights I can inform you that within workspaces we have currently two types of users:
admin: can view & edit boards
guest: can only view boards
more granular access rights are not yet implemented at this stage.
I hope this could clarify your questions!
Thank you and have a great day,

Thanks for your reply, Rob. Just to clarify, if I’ll use this Filter: User = "current user" in case where I have 20 logged-in users, all of them will see the same data, or each logged-in user will see a dashboard that reflects only their individual answers?
with this filter it would be tailored to the individual user - so everybody would see their unique data

Hi, based on your promise for the Filter: User = "current user" I am buying License tier 3. Hope it will be implemented very soon
