To clarify, the CNAME feature and the Branding Removal add-on are two distinct components that work together to create a fully customized brand experience.
1. CNAME Functionality: This feature allows you to host the chatbot on your own custom domain (e.g., chat.yourcompany.com).
2. Branding Removal Add-On: This is an optional enhancement ($10/month) that removes the "Powered by Chatbotbuilder" logo from the chatbot interface.
Therefore, the CNAME feature does not automatically include branding removal. To operate the chatbot on your custom domain without our branding, both would be required. Many clients find that our Tier 4 plan, which includes CNAME functionality, paired with the Branding Removal add-on, provides the most comprehensive and cost-effective solution.
