Q: Loving the Bot – But a Missing Translation Detail Needs Attention
I’m really impressed with the overall quality of ChatbotBuilder. After some initial hiccups, the support team was helpful and got my issue resolved – much appreciated! I’ve been diving deeper into the tool, and I truly see its potential.
That’s why I wanted to flag one small, but important detail: the placeholder text in the message input field. I’ve updated the default text in the backend – and it works perfectly in the standalone bot version. However, when embedding the bot via script, the placeholder reverts to the default English "Compose your message…" – and I can’t find a way to customize that.
Since every other part of the bot can be localized, this one leftover English fragment really stands out – and unfortunately, it breaks the tone for my audience. it really matters to those of us building in other languages

Aug 2, 2025A: Good news! Following up on your feedback about localizing the chat widget, I'm happy to report that we have now implemented a full translation feature.
Now, when you select a language from the "Language Setting" dropdown, all built-in system text (like "Compose your message...") will automatically translate to the selected language. This will create a much more seamless experience for your users.
