Q: Use case question
It is not completely clear to me if this is possible, hence this question.
1. When the chat starts, we need to pick some external data, which will be used to answer the questions of visitors. What is the best way to do that, via GET/JSON? Or else?
2. Can the dimensions of the chatscreen made as wide as the browserscreen?

External Data: Absolutely. For pulling in external data right when the chat starts, our HTTP block in the Studio is the perfect tool. Using a GET request to fetch JSON data is a very common and effective way our users handle this. You've got flexibility though – POST and XML are also supported if your API needs them.
Chat Width: Yes, you can achieve this using our inline widget option. You can embed the chat directly into your page content. If you place this widget within a container on your site that's set to span the full browser width, the chat will expand to fill that space. You also have control over specific widths and responsiveness.
