This is Moshe, founder of Claritee, an AI tool to design sites, apps, and landing pages with AI prompts plus detailed wireframe and sitemap control.

We are excited to be returning to AppSumo! When we originally launched on AppSumo almost two years ago, we were focused on making Claritee the #1 platform to create and manage your design requirements.

Since then, generative AI has transformed design and development. We saw an opportunity to combine AI features with the workflow benefits made possible in Claritee, and we turned Claritee into a platform that gives the user more control over the design process, assisted by AI.

We wanted to bring the new Claritee back to AppSumo to get feedback from you about our new proprietary AI Design feature. We are looking to partner with you to discover and build the future of AI design!

Why Claritee compared to other AI design tools?

The goal with Claritee is to give you the toolkit to act like an architect over the process of UI and UX design, while speeding up each step of the process with AI. At the end of the project in Claritee, you get a design file (pdf, html, or png) for each page that you can or use as a basis for further development (or copy and paste the HTML directly into your site builder).

Specifically, we give you a visual sitemap (to control the hierarchy of your pages and sections), a layout of each page (to control the content in a low-fidelity version of your design), and the final design of each page (generated with AI).

At each stage of the process, you can use AI to generate several pages, one page at a time, one section at a time, or specific lines of text.

The AI design is built to match your content layout exactly, so you can control every aspect of the final design.

The end of your project in Claritee is a downloadable design file - you can download as HTML, PDF, or PNG. In the future we may move to a full publishing platform where you can publish the site directly.

The philosophy behind Claritee is that AI should be a tool to help us create what we want, and we shouldn’t be limited by what the prompt gives us.

Why Claritee?

There are a lot of UI design platforms on the market, and some even let you publish straightaway on the web, so you can have a full working site up fast.

This is cool, but in our experience there are a lot of limitations to these tools that keep them from being practical for most projects.

I’ve built dozens of sites and apps inside many AI design platforms, and it’s very hard to get the results I want, because there are no controls during the stages between prompt and design.

Sure, you can modify some design elements after you get your results, but what about detailed control over the basic structure and content? What if the result I get from the prompt is wildly different from the layout I actually want?

Anybody who knows web or app design knows that you need to have a process to laying out your content, copy, and your sitemap before moving to design.

But these prompt-to-design platforms all spit out a design immediately, and you are left fighting with the prompt to try to convince the AI to re-configure your layouts, or making changes to the code itself. A total waste of time!

Design with intention

So the idea with Claritee is that you can have detailed full manual control over the sitemap and layout (content wireframe), and that gets fed into the AI design part of Claritee, and your resulting AI design winds up being exactly what you want.

The full package

With Claritee you get a drag-and-drop sitemap controller (a visual mind-map layout of your pages or screens), a layout view with drag and drop elements and full manual control, plus ability to embed images, save sections to your library for future use, embed iFrames, add links, and use our extensive content library for preconfigured assets.

What are past projects, failures, or successes you’ve had in your career?

Throughout my professional career, I’ve consistently noticed a huge misalignment between teams - often caused by unclear communication, siloed information, and processes that are anything but agile. I’ve seen how these inefficiencies waste both time and money, delay delivery, and create frustration across all levels of an organization. Over the years, I’ve worked on projects ranging from small-scale applications to enterprise-level platforms. Some were great successes where collaboration and clear workflows drove results. Others were painful lessons, where rigid processes, unclear goals, or poor feedback loops caused scope creep and stalled progress. These experiences shaped my approach today: focus on transparency, iterative delivery, and ensuring every team member understands the “why” behind the work. My mission has become to bridge the gap between business goals and technical execution - creating an environment where agility is not just a buzzword, but a practice that drives measurable results.

What’s the origin of the idea for your product?

Claritee started to help designers and product marketers solve the problem of wasting time spent working on projects when the requirements were not clearly understood. For a while, we have been a combination of a visual sitemap editor and wireframe tool with detailed content controls. The goal was to make the process of requirements building more efficient. When AI took off, we saw an opportunity to turn Claritee in a solution to control the AI process and output, and felt that compared to other tools, we could execute on this much better. Most tools were limited in that they went straight from prompt-to-result, and we had the advantage of the detailed control throughout the process. We feel that this detailed control is crucial in the AI world, and that the best tools, the ones that survive in the future, will embrace this philosophy of step-by-step work, with AI making little leaps forward in the process, but with detailed human input at every stage.

What problem is your product solving and how?

When you want to leverage AI to accelerate your design process, the real challenge isn’t just generating ideas quickly — it’s ensuring precision and control at every step. Jumping straight from a prompt to a full design without managing page hierarchy, content structure, and layout often leads to costly rework later. Our product solves this by combining AI-driven speed with human-guided control. At each stage of the process, you decide the hierarchy, refine the content layout, and shape the structure — ensuring the output matches your exact vision the first time. This means you get the best of both worlds: the speed of AI and the accuracy of deliberate design, eliminating wasted time and avoiding expensive do-overs. What sets us apart is that we’re not just another “AI design generator.” We’re a collaborative AI design platform that puts you in the driver’s seat from start to finish.

What’s the #1 thing you’re looking to gain from the AppSumo campaign?

The #1 thing we’re looking to gain from the AppSumo campaign is real-world feedback from a large, diverse user base to help us refine the product’s usability, identify high-value use cases. We’re also aiming to build word-of-mouth momentum within the creative and business communities, turning early adopters into advocates who showcase what’s possible with our platform.

What are your plans with the customers, cash, and learnings from the AppSumo campaign?

Our plan is to invest the revenue from the AppSumo campaign directly into product development, prioritizing the most requested features and enhancements identified through customer feedback. We’ll work closely with these early customers to document use cases, success stories, and pain points, ensuring we improve both the AI-powered design experience and overall platform performance. If we achieve our goals, the next step is to scale adoption, expand integrations with more design and collaboration tools, and launch targeted marketing to industries where our solution delivers the highest ROI.
