Q: App creation and other features

Hello. Looking at Claritee's description, it wasn't clear whether it's a page builder or also a web app builder. While AppSumo mentions app creation features, the official website only has a demo for website creation. Could you please clarify?

Regarding websites, if it supports app features, would there be back-end functionality, such as authentication or integrations, that would allow for the creation of a closed members-only area?

Sincerely, Henrique

A: Hi Henrique, thanks for your questions!

Here’s a detailed breakdown:

1. Page builder vs. app builder – Claritee is primarily an AI-powered design and code generation tool. You can create websites, web pages, and design files, and export them as HTML, PDF, or PNG. While AppSumo mentions “app creation,” this refers to the fact that the exported HTML can be turned into a website, PWA, or web app on your preferred platform or hosting service (Webflow, GitHub Pages, Netlify, AWS, etc.). Claritee itself doesn’t currently provide a back-end or run apps directly.

2. Backend functionality / members-only areas – Claritee does not provide built-in backend services, authentication, or database integrations. However, the HTML you export can be integrated with your own backend, authentication systems, or APIs to create closed members-only areas or other dynamic features.

3. Our focus and future vision – Claritee’s strength lies in accelerating design with AI while giving you full control over your UI/UX workflow. We are constantly evolving, and in the future, we plan to expand into a full publishing platform, which will allow users to connect directly with databases, APIs, and other backend features—enabling even more complex web apps.

In short, Claritee is the architect’s tool for web design: you create the structure, the look, and the logic, and then you can integrate it with whatever backend or platform you choose.
