Short Changed Appsumo Users

Appsumo users are given lower limits than direct offer in Blackfriday. I have brought this to attention of Moish few times and given screenshot and he promised to align appsumo plan with other offer but it has been a year and nothing has been done.

Claritee stated in review response: Hello. We’ve previously shared this via email support, but just to clarify again and ensure everything is clear: no Black Friday (or other seasonal) campaign has ever offered better limits at the same or lower pricing than our AppSumo customers received. We’ve always ensured AppSumo plans remained the best value.

>>>> This is incorrect Moish Here is where I paid $99 for 1 code on August 6, 2022. (See image: https://i.imgur.com/948pklD.png)

Claritee stated in review comment : Every private campaign—Black Friday, Christmas, Valentine’s, Easter—had the same limits, always at higher prices. If we ever noticed discrepancies, we updated all existing users so no one was left with fewer benefits than new buyers.

>>>> Here is what you offered for $99 in your black friday deal directly on your website. (See Image https://i.imgur.com/nFZqY6E.png)

Claritee stated in review comment: We’ve discussed this with you in length, but the facts remain: AppSumo customers have always received equal or better terms, and their plans continue to improve over time.

>>> So you offered more value in $99 paid on Blackfriday on your site then what early adopters Sumolings paid during your intial launch in terms of features and limits

>>>Please upgrade early adopter Sumolings to match your blackfriday launch.

I don't understand your value you are giving to sumolings

On your own site on black friday you put something as worth 99 and sold it for discount price at 49. Same plan you put as worth $1440 on Appsumo first launch. Similarly what you put on your site at $199 was valued at $3540 on Appsumo. So how do you come up with these value for same plan but different value on claritee v/s appsumo?

Hello,
We’ve been assisting you regarding this issue for about a year, and we’re disappointed to see a 1-star review based on a misunderstanding of our pricing structure.
We want to clarify one final time.
The Advanced Plan with 2 codes was retail priced at $199, not $99. The $99 price was a limited-time Black Friday promotional 50% discount, offered to both new and existing users.
This is standard across many online businesses and marketplaces, including AppSumo, where promotional pricing is temporary and does not change the retail value of the plan.
Early adopters and long-term users have always maintained access to the same or better overall value through ongoing updates and improvements. Our team has invested significant time over the past year to clarify this, and the promotional pricing should not be interpreted as the standard plan value.
At no point have AppSumo users received less value than what was offered during seasonal promotions. We ask that reviews reflect accurate information.
Misrepresenting our pricing or promotions is misleading to potential users and unfair to our team, who have consistently provided support and clarification over the past year.
Thanks

Hello. Every private campaign—Black Friday, Christmas, Valentine’s, Easter—had the same limits, always at higher prices. If we ever noticed discrepancies, we updated all existing users so no one was left with fewer benefits than new buyers.
The original AppSumo offer included 4,000 AI tokens per month. Since then, we’ve upgraded to a new system based on AI actions. These actions aren’t a direct token equivalent and they’re designed to be much more powerful and efficient.
Instead of requiring dozens or even hundreds of tokens to produce one meaningful output, a single AI action now delivers that result in one step. So while your plan includes 50 AI actions per month, the practical value and productivity you gain from them is substantially greater than what 4,000 tokens could achieve under the old system.
This was not a downgrade, it was an UPGRADE to your plan.
We’ve discussed this with you in length, but the facts remain: AppSumo customers have always received equal or better terms, and their plans continue to improve over time.
