Sorry :-(

I've tested Claritee in various scenarios and am generally pleased with its handling and scope. However, I must criticize the billing of AI credits, which neither corresponds to the specified tables nor can be considered acceptable. The 200 credits offered in Tier 1 are already depleted for simple tasks like creating a landing page in layout mode. For example, I used up my remaining 47 credits for just five sections, without the AI providing any significant added value.

I like the overall approach of the software and the tools themselves. The ability to import XML maps (sitemaps) is also very useful. However, the discrepancy in credits is simply too great. For a website with five different sub-pages that have individual layouts, I wouldn't even come close to having enough credits with the 200 provided.

I had already inquired about the high consumption of credits, but my question was dismissed with a reference to the existing tables. I find it strange that my question wasn't taken seriously. Either there's an issue with the algorithms used to calculate the consumed credits, or the approach is completely off the mark.

I believe that an unlimited usage approach or the possibility of using one's own key would be a better solution. Since this isn't the case, I'll likely return the deal.

Hi toms.mc,

Thank you for taking the time to write such a detailed and honest review. I’m genuinely sorry that the AI credit experience led to frustration, and your feedback is valid.

You’re right that, in its current form, Tier 1 can feel too limited for workflows like full layout to design, especially when working on multi-page sites. That said, seeing around 60 credits consumed for a 6-section page is on the higher side. Based on our action model, this should usually be lower, and it may depend on the exact sequence of actions taken.

I want to be very transparent about something important.

Claritee is an LTD, but the AI behind it is not. We pay real, recurring monthly costs to AI providers for every generation, regardless of when the deal was purchased. Unlimited AI usage under an LTD model is not sustainable for us long term, which is why credits exist in the first place.

That said, your core point stands.

Tier 1 today is best suited for individual creators or light usage.
For agency-style, full-page, multi-site generation, it can feel restrictive.

Based directly on feedback like yours, we are actively working on the following:

Section-by-section design generation, so you don’t pay for regenerating an entire page
Lower-cost, more predictable AI actions
BYOK (Bring Your Own Key) as an option, so power users can connect their own AI provider and bypass credit constraints entirely

BYOK is especially intended as a long-term solution for agencies and heavy users who want full freedom while keeping costs under their own control.

If you’d like, we’re happy to look into your specific case and review the credit usage together. If you decide to return the deal, we fully respect that decision.

Thank you again for seriously evaluating Claritee and for sharing candid feedback. It directly influences how we improve the product.

Best regards,
Moish
