Great tool to get verified contacts

I may not be using the tool to the fullest, because my needs are quite specific and I don't need thousands of contacts, I need few hundred key people from USA. Looking for them on LinkedIn then using cleanlist Edge extension to get email and mobile number is terrific. It feels like cheating, being able to get direct cell numbers of key people in big companies. :)
I have upgraded from Tier 2 to Tier 5 after using this tool for a week. Hope it gets only better from here, even if LTD's would not get any new features, it still feels like good value.

The platform is buggy and immature.

Update: No reply from support as well

I signed up for the highest tier of the platform, and almost all of the time I tried unlocking any contact, it said we could not find the contact. In the billing section, it kept on showing that I am on the free plan, even though it showed me that you have been successfully upgraded to the tier 7 plan. Very disappointed

Hey there - Can you reach out to support to share more?

This should not be the case and you should have access to our database and enrichment services.

simple, useful and powerful

It saves me time. It's very simple and doesn't make me think, and that's why I love it. I just wish API access was available in the lower tiers.

Love it

In my business finding clean data is a MUST. I get a lot done with other tools in bulk but when I want to refine a list I turn to Cleanlist

Thank you, that's exactly the role Cleanlist is built for. Bulk tools get you volume; when the list actually has to be clean and refined, that's where the 15+ provider waterfall and pay-per-result verification earn their keep. Really appreciate you sharing it, and if you ever want to push that refined data straight into your outreach (CRM or Lemlist) or automate the refining step via the API,...

Poor support

Credits taken incorrectly with no proper resolution

We are an AppSumo Tier 5 customer and had a very poor experience with Cleanlist's support and credit system.

We ran an enrichment on a contact list and were quoted approximately 370 credits. The system ended up taking over 1,800 credits and returned zero emails and zero phone numbers. Their own support acknowledged something went wrong on their end related to our tier limits.

What followed was over two weeks of chasing for a resolution. We were told it would be fixed "tomorrow or over the weekend" — it wasn't. Every time we followed up we got a different agent with no continuity. When they finally responded they loaded 500 credits as compensation, which does not come close to covering what was incorrectly taken.

The platform itself has potential but the credit system is unreliable and the support is slow and inconsistent. We would not feel confident using our remaining credits knowing the same issue could happen again with no guarantee of a fair resolution.

Hi, and thank you for laying this out in detail. You're right to be frustrated, and I want to own this rather than explain it away.

Two things clearly went wrong. First, the credit charge itself: Cleanlist is pay-per-result, so failed enrichments are supposed to cost zero credits. Taking 1,800 credits for a run that returned no emails and no phones is a direct violation of how the system is meant...
