Comparable to the big players?
I’ve tried some of the bigger names in this space, including Apollo and Clay, so I wasn’t expecting much from a lifetime deal. Cleanlist has truly surprised me. The waterfall enrichment is probably the biggest selling point for me. Rather than relying on a single database, it can fall through multiple providers when the first source doesn’t have the contact, which makes a lot of sense because every data provider has its own coverage gaps. You end up with a much better chance of filling in missing email, phone or company data without having to manually check several different platforms.
I can take a list I already have, enrich it, verify the results, and get useful contact information without turning the process into a project. I also like that the enrichment isn't just about finding an email. You can fill in the broader contact and company record, which makes the resulting list much more useful for actual prospecting and CRM work.
It’s not perfect, and there are still some UX areas that could be polished, but the core product works well and the data quality has been better than I expected. It’s one of those tools that can quietly save a lot of time when prospecting.
