Nothing more than alpha stage
I really wanted to fall in love with Cline.
Useful platform to do a/b tests.
But after deep testing I have the impression it's a developer offering early alpha to market and seems they're not working on it.
For starting, everytime You open an experiment (spoiler: tried with different browsers/PCs so it' Cline related) You got annoying error "Application error: a client-side exception has occurred (see the browser console for more information).".
Developer kindly replied "We'll investigate" but after 2 weeks without fixing doubts arise.
Furthermore, today this BUG is always ON, preventing to access experiments and data. Wonderful!
This is a bad BUG, preventing to use Cline.
2 - Its not clear how variants are pushed to visitors (some variants with same % weight report "0 views")
3 - Some experiment could not be started because Cline failed to identify text button in page. Not nice...
4 - Generative AI is limited to English only
Suggestions:
add % conversion rate, to easily identify most converting variants
option to quickly duplicate an experiment and then modify it
add dark mode (please!) and colors to identify highs and lows
So, is Cline a suitable option?
It depends if You have patience to wait developers work on product, fixing tons of bugs and deliver a workable Saas.
Me? After today, when I discovered You can't go on, even after trying reloading pages, I gave up.
