Q: Use with LightSpeed Plugin

Hello,
I'm using LightSpeed plugin, as their free CDN quote is so tide in free version, I would like - if possible - add your CDN instead.
In that context, I don't need to replace my LightSpeed plugin as it's fully compatible with my LightSpeed server, however use only your CDN after purchase.
Regards

Q: Does the Wordpress plugin?

Does the Wordpress Plugin auto whitelist your IP/hosting IP or does this need to be done manually? Notice emails impacted.

Q: Where are your Point of Presence (POP)?

Is there a list of your POPs. I get your a european concern, but I'm interested in Asia Pacific and the Middle East. Particularly all the big countries such as Saudi Arabia, India, Australia, HK and Singapore etc. I'm sure people from other locations would like to know also. I can't find any info on your website or on google.

Q: Support Goals and Standards??

Theres been alot of talk about lack of support in the questions. Can you please explain what the support goals are with CloudFilt? Is there a response standard? Is there a different tier for Appsumo LTD users? Without support, we could potentially have websites that are down for longer than is bearable which isn't long if your losing money or not making money.

A: Hello, Thank you for your message.

At CloudFilt, our goal is to respond within 48 business hours, with priority given to critical issues (e.g., site downtime).
All users, including AppSumo LTD customers, receive the same level of support, with no tiered service differentiation.

The strong success of our AppSumo campaign led to a high volume of requests, which may have caused temporary delays. However, we’ve already expanded our support team to ensure smooth follow-up moving forward.

Also worth noting: this lifetime offer for a full CDN/WAF solution at this price is truly unprecedented. We’re doing everything possible to scale efficiently while maintaining reliable support.

For any assistance, feel free to reach out via email or through the live chat.

Q: SSL issues after DNS setup – does the WordPress plugin avoid this?

I tried setting up CloudFilt via DNS (A record), but it caused major SSL issues: browsers say “connection not private,” and the certificate doesn’t match the domain. I also got 502 Bad Gateway errors. I tried all protocol options (HTTP, HTTPS, both) and used the CloudFilt SSL, but no success. My site has been running with a valid SSL from the host for years. Now I’m wondering: if I install the WordPress plugin instead of changing DNS, will it work without breaking SSL? Or is the plugin a limited solution? I’d love to use CloudFilt but had to roll back for now. Any help appreciated!

A: Hello, Thank you for your message, and sorry to hear about the issues you’ve experienced.

The “connection not private” SSL errors and 502 Bad Gateway messages can happen when the CloudFilt SSL certificate hasn’t yet fully propagated, or when your host’s existing SSL is still active and conflicting with the new DNS setup. These situations are temporary and resolvable, but we understand they can be frustrating.

If you prefer not to change your DNS, the WordPress plugin is a fully functional option. It works well, especially on shared hosting, and does not interfere with your existing SSL. So yes, it should work without breaking SSL. This method provides solid client-side protection without any DNS change.

However, to unlock the full benefits of CloudFilt, such as network-level protection, advanced bot filtering, and reduced latency, we still recommend the full CDN/WAF setup when possible.

For personal assistance and to help resolve your current setup issue, feel free to contact us via email or through the chat. We’ll guide you step by step.

We appreciate your interest in CloudFilt and are here to help you get the best experience.
